The lovely and talented Annemieke Marie Farrow grew up in New Mexico. Her love of performing became apparent at age three when she upstaged the star in a local TV commercial, single-handedly confirming the maxim that it is ill-advised to share the stage with either children or animals.

Her first taste of live theatre came during her primary school fourth/fifth-grade musical. Blindsided by relegation to a mere supporting role instead of the lead she craved, Annemieke sang and danced her little heart out to prove that someone, somewhere had made a grave mistake!
Fast forward through one BFA, a handful of tours, stage combat scars, years of "I can't, I have rehearsal," and 4,273 auditions: Annemieke lives quite happily in NYC where she has worked steadily in the business since 1999. Her name has not yet appeared in lights on The Great White Way. However, buoyed by the memory of her first triumph over theatrical adversity, Annemieke intends to sing and dance and act her little heart out until she attains that dream.

While she pursues her passion, she continues to unravel the mysteries of the human experience via part-time teaching, outdoor adventuring, and international travel. At some point she would love to establish a canine therapy program. However, Annemieke will never share the stage with any of her dogs.

Being highly adaptable, Annemieke recovered quickly from this snub and managed to successfully navigate the Machiavellian shoals of middle and high school theatre. By senior year, she had graduated from chorus member to leading lady.  Major roles included a witch, a murderess, a missionary, and a 45-year old mother of two (yes, all by age 16). These diverse characters bolstered her belief that people are strange but fascinating and the world is wide, so she'd better get out there to experience it for herself. Thus, after two years of pursuing a BFA in Santa Fe, NM, Annemieke confronted her inner dragons and girded her loins (metaphorically speaking), heading for that castle on yonder hill -- New York City.
